Dhaka Festival Screens 29 Iranian Short Films

Tehran, March 10, 2010: The 2010 edition of Dhaka+s International Short & Independent Film Festival screens 29 short films directed by young Iranian filmmakers.

The films have been produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS) and directed by filmmakers in different Iranian cities.

Mohammad Davoudi+s This House is not Black, Akbar Torabpour+s Lollipop, Mohsen Nabavi+s Aquarium, Arash Anisi+s Little Hands, Mohammad-Baqer Jafarzadeh+s Symphony of Crows and Armin Isarian+s Dinner Time are among the films that will be screened in the event.

The 11th International Short & Independent Film Festival of Dhaka kicked off on March 4 and will run until March 12 in the capital city of Bangladesh, presstv.com reported.

Organized by the Bangladesh Short Film Forum, the festival is held on the theme of “Free Cinema, Free Expression.”
