Isfahani Children Nominated for Japan Painting Competition

Tehran, June 19, 2009: Eight paintings by Isfahani children were nominated for the Tenth International Environment Painting Competition in Japan, which is known as JQA.

Announcing this, director of public relations department of Isfahan+s Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), Fattaneh Dalili told IRNA that the event is held every year to promote protection and revival of environment.

Over 200 paintings from the branches of IIDCYA around the country were submitted to Tehran of which 33, including eight from Isfahan were selected for the 2009 International Environment Painting Competition in Japan.
