Decision of Barekat Court Increased the Hope of Iran to Restore its Stolen Heritage.

Stolen Historical Objects of Jiroft
CHTO of Iran has shaped a professional archeological committee to trace the clues of stolen cultural heritage.
CHN Foreign Desk- 26 December 2007- After 3 years of struggle, the final decision of Barekat Court of London regarding the restoration of Jiroft historical objects which were illegally taken away from Iran, strengthened the hope of Iranian to win similar cases in international courts and to return stolen objects to the place where they belong.

In this regard, CHTO of Iran has shaped a restoration committee to trace clues of other historical and archeological objects which have been stolen from Iran and to raise cases in international courts in order to win them back.

This committee is responsible for collecting sufficient evidences and clues to convince courts to vote in favor of returning those objects to their origin.

In order to raise a sound and legal case, the exact number and details of the stolen objects should be investigated.

The battle of Iran to restore 18 Jiroft stolen historical objects started on 2004 and the recent decision of London Court was a triumph for Iranians.
