7000 Years History of Kandovaan Will be Kept Safe

CHTO of Iran denied demolishing of a 7000-year old cave of Kandovaan for constructing a Sauna Bath.
 
CHN Foreign Desk- 1 December 2007- In reaction to the recent news of destroying a 7000-year old cave in Kandovaan village with the aim of constructing a public sauna bath by the Kandovaan Laleh Hotel, the head of eastern Azerbaijan CHTO strongly denied the news.
 
 "Naaser Doost", head of eastern Azerbaijan CHTO indicated: "until this moment of speaking, none of the Historical or pre- Historical heritages of Kandovaan has been demolished in order to build a public Sauna or any other amenities for the Kandovaan Laleh Hotel."
 
"Hassan Ghoreishi" manager of the CHTO camp in Kandovaan warned about the extreme vulnerability of Kandovaan village to humidity caused by Sauna.
 
"Ismail Jaamei Oskooe" GM of the Kandovaan Laleh Hotel said: we have the plan of constructing Billiard saloon and a public Sauna not within the Historical area of this village, but under a mountain of this village.
 
He added: relevant studies of constructing these amenities and finding the proper location for them is being conducted by a group of specialists.
 
Considering the valuable experience of Turkey in constructing Hotels in the Historical sites, a group of specialists will pay a visit to this country to gain the needed experience and professionalism.
 
 
Oskooe announced the news of adding 30 more rooms to the Kandovaan Laleh Hotel in near future.
