Tehran, 22 February 2006 (CHN) -- A memorandum of understanding was signed on 19th of February between Social Comfort and Tourism Development Company in Chabahar Port in Sistan va Baluchistan province and Fanspain Company in Spain according to which Spain will establish training courses in tourism industry in Chabahar’s Tourism School. Establishing short term and long term training courses in the field of tourism and hotel management in the Tourism School of Chabahar Free Zone was the main topic of this memorandum of understanding. According to this memorandum of understanding, Chabahar Free Zone Organization is in charge of holding these training courses in Chabahar’s International Tourism School. The number of the students in each course will be determined according to the executive agreements. Hotel management and its sub-branches including reception, restaurant industry, hosting, and tourism management such as touring, tour guiding and ticketing will be taught according to training charts. Tourism diplomas will be granted to those who successfully pass the courses. The period for long-term sessions will be three years. The Spanish company is in charge of providing and sending tourism trainers to the tourism school of Chabahar, and also to prepare the training charts according to the international standards. It is supposed that the diplomas must be approved by one of the valid universities in Spain. This company is also in charge of establishing sub-branches of the Tourism School of Chabahar in other provinces of Iran after receiving permission from the legal authorities. Some Iranian professionals I tourism and hotel management will also teach at Chabahar’s Tourism School. Some comprehensive advertisement will be done with the cooperation of both sides to attract students to this school. Moreover, Faraz Arghavan Company, the representative of Faspain Company in Iran will help the educators who get their diploma to find jobs in related fields in Iran and other countries as well. Based on this agreement, both sides should prepare the executive training program after 40 days from the signing of the agreement. “Spain to Establish Tourism School in Chabahar” |
